Travel trailers offer the most affordable price point to break into RV camping. You don't have the added expenses of their larger cousins, you can tow most modern trailers with a pickup, SUV, or even a minivan, so there's no added equipment you need before you hit the road. And they can access areas that are off-limits to weightier or more cumbersome RVs. But the real reason? They're just a fun way to get back to nature with your family and friends.
We don't want to promise anything we can't back up, but travel trailers are some of the most customizable RVs on the market. There are endless floorplans and layouts, from bunk house models, front bed, rear bed, front kitchen, rear kitchen, the list goes on and on. You've also got complete creative control over the interior, from wood styles, fabric choices, color palettes, you can customize your living space to match your personal style. And there's a wide range of available styles, from the smaller teardrop campers to larger models with slide outs for expandable interior space.
Easy to Use
Seriously. You won't find a more accommodating camper. It'll take you a few minutes to get the hang of leveling, and packing a travel trailer is its own beast, but you can really hookup your trailer and hit the road at almost a moment's notice. And once you roll up on your campsite you don't need to do a thing! All the comforts of home are at your fingertips and when you're ready it's easy enough to hitch back up and head home.
We covered some of this above, but overall you'll spend less with a travel trailer than any other RV. Fuel costs will be down since you're not gassing up a giant diesel engine. You won't need special modifications to pull a travel trailer, and when you can tow your destination with your lodging and transportation costs stay down. And most trailers require minimal maintenance, there's no engine or transmission to keep up, as long as you keep your wheels, tires, and exterior in decent shape (and you should see our service department for help with this) your RV will run for years without a problem.
