Favorite has to be in June with the Salmon Fly, Golden Stone Fly, and various other bug hatches coming out. There were clouds of big bugs and the fish were eating. Big brown trout and rainbow trout taken on top flies and bottom flies! There was a thunderstorm that moved in and passed just to the north so the sun was out where I was. It was just a perfect day. That area of course has the local pet mountain goats and they were out. There are always deer. Just your classic Montana blue ribbon experience.

My Bucket List Adventure
There are a couple of adventures I'd like to do but with life throwing a curveball I'm keeping it simple. I would like to take a motorhome and travel to the Missouri and Yellowstone Rivers. I would like to go into Glacier and fish the spring creeks in Paradise Valley in Livingston.

My bucket list adventure is hiking the Lava crest trail. Its a 500 mile stretch of the pacific crest trail heading from Oregon to Donner pass. Its supposed to be quite the endeavor, and an something I greatly hope to achieve some day.
