Mount Sentinel: The "M" Trail
University of Montana, Missoula, MT 59812
If you are in Missoula and looking for something fun to do, drive your RV to the trail head to enjoy this classic Missoula Hike! The “M” on the west face of Mount Sentinel has been a Missoula landmark since 1908, when Forestry Club members forged a zigzag trail up the mountain and students carried up stones to shape the symbol of the University of Montana. This hike is a great place to take your family and see the beautiful landscape of Missoula. While you’re in Missoula, make sure you head to Bretz RV’s to pick up any last-minute things you need for your RV.
