With the WC Series utility fishing boat Lund brings functionality to life. This series is the perfect small fishing boat for camping trips, hunting, and even sunfish fishing. This tiller (rear steering) unit is available in either 14' 6" or 16' 2" lengths seating 4 or 5 depending on your choice.
The hull bottom and freeboard thickness is 0.063", and there is an aluminum encased transom with (4) aluminum Keelsons to add strength and stiffness to the framework. You will find a modified split seat and cross seats with a vinyl-wrapped composite seat top. The oar locks make it easy to secure and support your oars when rowing, and you will find fuel tank storage as well.

In 1948, G. Howard Lund built his first aluminum duck boat. The secret behind Lund’s success was in his craftsmanship. With an extreme attention to detail, Lund’s prototype offered a superior design and unparalleled engineering, creating greater fishability.
When a salesman from Inland Marine Corp. asked Howard for 50 more aluminum boats, the Lund Boat Company would begin the production of “The World’s Finest Fishing Boats”.
In 1961, Howard re-incorporated the company as Lund Metal Craft, Inc. and expanded in the fiberglass market. With the acquisition of Shell Lake Boat Company, Lund would now increase versatility with a product line up for family and sport.
1968 Purchased Shell Boat company.
