Comparing the nuCamp RV TAB 320 CS-S to the 320 S

If you’re an avid camper who loves to bring all your essential gear when journeying through the wilderness, a compact teardrop camper may be the perfect addition to your adventures. The nuCamp RV TAB 320 CS-S and nuCamp RV TAB 320 S are two campers that offer unique features and benefits, making them ideal for drivers who enjoy setting up camp and relaxing during a long road trip. Here’s a comprehensive comparison of the nuCamp RV TAB 320 CS-S vs. the 320 S, highlighting some of their most attractive features.

Exterior

Looking at the exteriors of the nuCamp RV TAB 320 CS-S and the nuCamp RV TAB 320 S, you can immediately discern subtle differences between the two campers. The main distinguishing factor is the color options available for each model.

For the TAB 320 S, you’ll get to choose between four trim colors: Bright White, Steel Gray, Jet Black, and Harvest Red. Depending on your choice, you’ll notice striking details highlighted on the camper’s exterior, such as a painted border and wheel covers. Additionally, you have the option of three different accents painted on the side, including classic accents, an accent stripe, or a ridgeline illustration showcasing a drawing of mountain tops. You can also customize the sidewall colors to be white, silver, or charcoal and decide between gray or birch wood for the interior cabinets.

The TAB 320 CS-S offers the same options for paint colors and sidewall accents as the TAB 320 S, but there are a few differences. One is that you can’t apply the trim colors to the border around the camper, as that stays metallic. However, one detail you can change that doesn’t appear on the TAB 320 S is the hatch for the outdoor kitchen, situated in the back of the camper.

Floor Plan

These two campers also differ in the floor plans they use to organize their features. The TAB 320 S has a complete wet bath with a shower and a toilet, so you can use an indoor bathroom while on the go. It also has an expandable split bed that folds out from the dinette, providing you with a dining space for your indoor meals and a bed for nighttime. You also get an entire kitchenette inside the TAB 320 S, complete with a stovetop, sink, and refrigerator.

While the TAB 320 CS-S also includes an indoor wet bath with a toilet and shower, it differs in where it situates the kitchen. The “CS” in this model’s name stands for “clamshell” and gives insight into the location of the cooking area.

Rather than being inside the camper, the kitchen of the TAB 320 CS-S sits underneath a clamshell-like hatch on the outside of the vehicle. This allows you to cook outdoors, with access to a fully equipped kitchen with counters, a sink, a stovetop, a TV, and a refrigerator. Additionally, this camper includes the same type of dinette that you can convert into a bed.

Interior

Another area where you can compare these two campers is in their interior. Both have solar power capabilities and complete wet baths, but the TAB 320 S offers a slightly more luxurious experience. For example, it provides the ability to choose between various configurations for sleeping by turning the dinette into a queen-size bed or transitioning half of it into a twin-size bed while one of the seats remains up. Additionally, the 320 S has a refrigerator with a capacity of 2.3 cubic feet, while the fridge for the CS-S only has a total of 1.7 cubic feet.

Inside the TAB 320 CS-S, the dinette also has three options for sleep configuration, adding even more variety than the TAB 320 S. You can opt for one of the identical setups as the other model, which uses one side of the dinette as a twin bed and leaves the other seat as it is. However, you can also transition the entire dinette into a full-sized bed or a pair of twin beds, which can be perfect for guests.

There are also heating and cooling systems inside both the TAB 320 S and the TAB 320 CS-S. This means you can control the climate in the camper however you please, making it easy to stay comfortable no matter where or when you’re camping.

Comfort and Convenience

Both models offer an array of optional upgrades to their convenience features to ensure you and your passengers remain comfortable once you set up camp. For example, you can equip the TAB 320 S and the TAB 320 CS-S with central air conditioning, a power roof fan, and roof-mounted solar panels. There are also options to add exterior table mounts, an adjustable table, and an entry step light, making it even easier to take your party outside the camper.

In terms of entertainment, there are several add-ons available for both the TAB 320 S and the TAB 320 CS-S for an extra fee. One of these is the Bluetooth Media Center, which includes a 19-inch TV screen, perfect for playing music or watching movies while you camp. Additionally, an auto-detect power converter is available to keep you connected no matter where you are.

To enhance your comfort, you can opt for the Alde central heating and hot water system, which guarantees a constant supply of heat and hot water, which can be especially helpful when camping during the fall or winter months.
