Class C Buying Guide

Class C Buying Guide for the Small Family

Finding Your Perfect Motorhome – C Why We Say Choose Class C!

Just like Goldilocks and the Three Bears, you need to find the option that is right for you. Maybe a Class A Motorhome is just too big, and Class B just a tad too small. In the end, you have to find what is right for both you and your budget, and Bretz RV and Marine is here to help you find the Class C motorhome perfect for your family!

5 Reasons why Class C is right for you!

1. Cost

One of the determining factors when buying an RV is the cost. A new Class A Motorhome can run anywhere from $50,000 to hundreds of thousands of dollars. That is one of the primary reasons people are so drawn to Class C Motorhome. A comparable Class C Motorhome typically ranges from $40,000 to $150,000.

2. Cost After Purchase

Cost after purchase is the cost that comes from maintenance, gas, etc. The average MPG of Class C Motorhomes hover around the 15 MPG mark. This is quite a bit higher than other RVs. You can also find Class C Motorhomes that can get up to 20 MPG. Another thing to keep in mind is the cheaper maintenance cost due to the fact that most Ford certified mechanics should be able to work on them,

3. Ease of Use

A large reason why people gravitate towards Class C Motorhomes is the ease of which they drive compared to larger RVs. If you can drive an older style truck, then you can most likely handle a Class C Motorhome. Newcomers to larger RVs can still find it daunting to drive, but nowhere near as challenging as a Class A might be.

4. Compact Doesn’t Mean Cramped

People might assume that just because it is a step down in terms of size, that it is therefore cramped. But that is simply not the case. Class C Motorhomes are great at making space work for families. From having beds above the driver to having expandable sides, Class Cs can really get spacious.

5. More Choices of Where To Go

People never really spend too much time thinking about height clearances when driving around in their car. Clearances really start to become something to keep in mind when driving RVs, especially larger Class A Motorhomes. But for Class C Motorhomes, it’s not that much of a problem.

Another constraint other RVs might have comes from their length. Many national parks limit the size of RVs that can stay there. The typical range is in the lower 30s in terms of feet. That is typically the maximum length of Class C Motorhomes, so you never need to worry.

Now that you know of the reasons to choose Class C Motorhomes, we have outlined some Class C Motorhomes at three different price points. Take a look at these three amazing Class C Motorhomes.
