Head southwest of Billings in your Bretz RV and stop on by the Emerald Lake Campground and go fishing at either the West Rosebud Lake or Emerald Lake. With plentiful fish in the lake, You'll never run out of enjoyment with the endless adventure that are at these lakes. West Rosebud lake is a trail head for a lot of great hiking in the Beartooth’s district. This is a great spot to spend an afternoon fishing for trout or relaxing while looking at the scenery.

Fees

9 Dollars, 5 dollars for each additional vehicle. ½ price with interagency senior or access pass. Outside of the peak summer dates (Memorial Day- Labor Day), the campground remains ungated, free, and available for use (no services, not maintained, roads are not plowed). If you visit outside the peak fee season, please bring your own water, toilet paper (outhouse will remain open), and please pack out your trash.
